Where's your......?

I was telling mom the body parts that Olivia knows and she wanted to see it, so here's a video. She knows nose, hair, eyes (which I forgot to ask), belly and feet. I think it's amazing at how quickly you can teach babies stuff! She listens and processes everything I tell her....just a little sponge!

Please excuse the dirty pajamas and MESSY MESSY hair! This was during breakfast, but I figured it may be the only time I could catch her on video! Our videos pretty much have to be taken in the high chair where she is contained!

For some reason the first part of the video cut off, but my first question was "where's your nose?".

Now, Jason would absolutely KILL me if he knew I put this on here, so "shhhhhh"! He told me he didn't want people to hear his narration, so turn put your volume on mute everyone (what a shame...because he's pretty funny)!

Big Daddy's 93rd Birthday

We went to Austin this weekend for Jason's grandfather's 93rd birthday!

This was the "small" group picture. There are others with about 15 people. Can't wait to see those, as I'd be SOOOOO impressed if they turned out! It's just about near impossible to get group pictures with everyone looking at the camera and smiling!

Look who's finally decided to take on walking full time! She is still pretty cautious about it, so hopefully we won't have too many bumps and bruises! So far so good!

My Thirty-One business is doing really well and really taking off! It seems like I have a party almost every weekend. I'm already having to book into June, and I'm not far from starting July bookings! I honestly thought I'd do 3-4 parties and quit...it's not looking like that's going to happen, which is pretty exciting! I'm looking forward to what the future may hold for me there, and I love that it's a faith-based business! Wish me continued success & luck! :)

Wisconsin

Jason and I took Olivia on her first plane ride to Wisconsin over the weekend. My sister and her family had only seen Olivia once since she was born, so the visit was well overdue! We flew into Minneapolis-St. Paul and went to the Mall of America. It happened to be Jason's birthday, and his request was that he got to go ride all of the roller coasters in the mall. So, that's what he did!

Kenzie is a little mess! She is quiet, yet really funny! She kept us laughing.

15 Months Old...already?!

Olivia is 15 months old today! With each day that passes, I feel like my baby is slipping away and becoming more and more like a toddler....a very strong-willed toddler! How does it happen SO FAST? Lightening speed! Yet at the same time, I can barely remember those first few weeks. I'm really not sure how I survived....I was a zombie, as I'm sure a lot of new moms are....from being in the hospital for 4 nights with NO sleep whatsoever to coming home to a new baby that ate every 2-3 hours.....trying to recover from the c-section....trying to keep house clean and cook dinners....trying to figure out what the different cries meant....trying to sleep but not really being able to as I had to check her constantly to make sure she was still breathing....and being so overwhelmed and terrified that I'd never figure it all out and that I would totally screw up as a parent! WHEW...Looking back, maybe it really is getting much easier....even with her "little" tantrums!

Olivia is learning so much on a daily basis, it's hard to even think of it all anymore! She still loves her momma, daycare, her puppies, oh, and daddy too! She is really becoming a pretty good eater, which I didn't think would ever happen. She will almost at least try anything I give her. Her favorites at the moment are grilled cheeses, french fries, lunch meat, cheese and black beans. She still eats a lot of fruit as well, although we've found she has an allergy to strawberries. What a shame! Hopefully she'll grow out of that one!

We went to the doctor yesterday and she weighs about 22 pounds and is 31.5 inches long. She's wearing size 18 month clothes, size 4 diapers, size 3-4 shoes and is generally a very happy baby (unless of course you tell her "no", then you better watch out)!

Olivia, we love you so so so so very much! You are a little mess that keeps us on our toes, and we couldn't have asked for anything more!

Bluebonnets (finally)

First of all, it's amazing how much more vibrant the bluebonnets are this year than last! I didn't realize it until I looked at the pictures we took last year. Isn't amazing how much babies change over the course of just 1 year?!

...and in 2010! She was SO funny when we put her in the bumbo for her pic. I thought it'd be cute to have "matching" pics from last year. She thought it was pretty amusing! Her eyebrows are about the same last year as they were this year....somewhat disapproving I think!

We do NOT have many bluebonnets around here....nothing like all of the pictures I've been seeing from friends in East Texas....so I was SOOOO excited to find this patch close to our house. Most patches out here are very small. I drive 40 miles East to work every day and I see TONS of them....gorgeous ones. While I love the town where we live, I guess we are just too close to being West Texas to have lucious fields of our state flower!

*Note - I wanted to take pictures after church today because Olivia had on a really pretty blue dress that would have looked great in the bluebonnets, but we didn't find this patch until the afternoon, which was well after her church clothes were off! I had taken her church dress with us, but Jason wouldn't let me do a clothes change. He was ready to come back home. Oh well!!! We think she looks cute no mater what she's wearing!

Easter Sunday 2010

Ready for picture OVERLOAD???!!!

I caught Olivia and Daddy first thing this morning looking for her pacifier under her bed. Too cute! Love that little toosh!

Then, we went into the living room and found that the Easter bunny came during the night and brought Olivia this basket of goodies!

This was the only real treat the Easter bunny left her....a big cookie. I think Daddy has already claimed it though! The bunny also left Sugar-Free Peeps.....I was very excited about finding these, but Olivia hasn't tried them yet! She also got a book, a small purse, a new ducky, Little People, etc. (just a bunch of junk!)

Hmmm.....anything else in here?

After Church, we went to Gram E's house for lunch and our adult Easter egg hunt

She LOVES the little plastic eggs. We fill them with puffs, yogurt melts, cherrios, etc. She loves to "find" them and then eat the prizes!
