Mother's Day Weekend

We headed to my mom's for Mother's Day weekend this year. Since it's close to a 5 hour drive, we took off on Friday to head out early. On our way, we stopped to see my grandparents. Granddaddy & Pat had not seen Olivia since Thanksgiving! It's a shame we go that long without seeing family. Everyone's lives are just too busy these days....no time for anything....yet at any given time, if you ask me what I'm doing, I'd say "oh, nothing!". Go figure.

She insisted on giving Granddaddy 2 big kisses before we left. So sweet!




When we got to mom's house, had dinner and just laid around most of the weekend. Mom brought out this rocking horse that was hers when she was little. It's an antique! (just kidding mom!)

Gracie loves going OUT the doggie door, but she can't get back in because it's so small!

On Saturday, we played outside for a while. The land that backs up to my mom's yard has goats & sheep. Olivia enjoyed looking at them but was scared and wouldn't pet them when they came up to the fence.

She also helped Nana water.

We had a great weekend! Hopefully we won't wait another six months before we go back!!!
